About D&M
D&M Coachworks was founded by our father, Danny in 1989 at a site in Wimbledon, originally known as Dowell Brothers.
As the business grew, an additional site, D&M Coachworks, was acquired in 1992 and later expanded in 1998.
Daniel, the elder of the two brothers, joined the family business in 2001. By 2004, operations were consolidated at the newly expanded Wandsworth site.
Michael became part of the team in 2011, and over the years, both brothers gradually took on more responsibilities as Danny began transitioning out of the business. Danny officially retired in 2022.
In 2023, the business relocated to its current workshop in Epsom.
D & M Coachworks carry out bodywork and accident repair for both private individuals and insurance companies.
Our vehicle repair centre covers 5,000 square feet, we can look after all of your car’s bodywork & paint refinishing requirements.
We work on all accident repairs, non-fault claims and car body repairs of all types, from bumper scuffs, dents and accident repair, as well as alloy wheel refurbishment.
We also offer car general maintenance work including Automotive glazing, MOTs, Servicing & Air-Conditioning - we are a one stop shop for all your vehicle needs!
Warranty
As a well-established family run business, we take pride in our work, and for your peace of mind, we provide a warranty for our paint and body repairs workmanship, parts and materials, testimony to the quality and faith we put in our system and process and highly trained team. This is in addition to your statutory rights, which means in the unlikely event of concern, you can be confident that we can and will resolve any issue arising under the terms of this warranty.
Our professionally trained staff are experienced in accident repair protocol, adhering to Motor Vehicle Repairers Association (MVRA), Vehicle Body Repairers Association (VBRA), quality assurance standards. We also provide a complete accident repair management service for major insurance companies, saving you time liaising with insurance companies.
